Lion’s Path Foundation supports organizations that help high school and/or college students pursue their passions. We are interested in undergraduate and high school research opportunities, self-directed learning, internships, and promoting self-determination in young people.

We are primarily interested in high school and college students.

We are currently only giving gifts to select 501(c)(3) organizations. Check back in the future for grant opportunities.

If you think your organization aligns with our mission, we would like to hear from you. Please send us a message through the contact section of the website. We are particularly interested in experiential learning or self-directed learning.

If you are a student with an idea, we are interested in hearing from you. At this time, projects will need to be done in cooperation with a 501(c)(3) organization, like a school or research lab.

IRS Determination Letter

In self-directed learning, students provide the engine for their own education. They are inspired by the material, and they want to learn more. Importantly, this is different from self-paced learning, in which students have no choice about what to learn, but they are not locked into the pace dictated by a classroom of other students. We support both self-directed and self-paced learning as ways to provide young humans with emotional support, choice, and dignity.
